Jasveen Sangha, dubbed the “Ketamine Queen”, has agreed to plead guilty to selling the drugs that led to Matthew Perry’s death on October 28, 2023, the U.S. Department of Justice confirmed. At 42, Sangha will plead guilty to five federal charges in Los Angeles, including one count of distribution of ketamine resulting in death or serious bodily injury. She is the fifth and final defendant charged in the case, joining Dr. Salvador Plasencia, Dr. Mark Chavez, Kenneth Iwamasa, and Eric Fleming, who have yet to be sentenced.
Federal prosecutors described her Los Angeles home as a “drug-selling emporium.” Sangha is expected to appear in federal court in the coming weeks to finalize her plea agreement.

Sangha has been in federal custody since August 2024. Reports suggest she faces up to 65 years in jail under the plea agreement. Federal prosecutors may reduce her sentence if she accepts responsibility, which her attorney, Mark Geragos, confirmed: "My client is accepting her responsibilities."
Her case also highlights a tragic pattern: in 2019, one of her clients, Cody McLaury, died from a ketamine overdose after purchasing it from Sangha, raising alarming questions about the broader implications of her actions.
